Our remote learning provision was developed prior to the first Covid lockdown, by the introduction of the Office 365 platform.
This allowed us to hit the ground running when we were required to provide online lessons, assemblies and homework for our children.
Since Compton and Up Marden joined DVSF last year, we have implemented the same system there, so that all children and staff have private accounts, which are only used for school work.
This system enables teachers to set homework on Office 365 and the children can often complete it and submit it online, rather than having to print at home or at school.
The use of the system has been fully risk assessed and is compliant with safeguarding and general data protection regulations.
Furthermore, if families have any difficulty with accessing the appropriate technology for working at home, we have a stock of donated devices that we can utilise.
