RAKE CE PRIMARY - Our School
Rake CE Primary is a small village school, situated at the edge of Rake village, in the South Downs National Park. It has a stimulating and supportive environment, in which all children have the opportunity to develop their individual talents.
In partnership with parents and carers, we are committed to ensuring that all our children develop to their full potential, in a safe and secure environment.
Our school offers a vibrant and creative curriculum, through well planned, focused teaching, incorporating visits, after school clubs and use of our exceptional outdoor surroundings and sports field. We have our own heated swimming pool, which is fully utilised by all of our children, and an adjacent woodland, used for outdoor learning and Forest School. You can find out about Forest Schools here.
Displays contribute to the positive ethos of the school and celebrate the outstanding quality of the children’s learning.
We have excellent relationships with the local nurseries and secondary schools and we welcome every opportunity for parents and members of the local community to be involved in our children’s learning.
From June 2020 we joined Rogate CE Primary to form the Downland Village Schools Federation, which was further extended in March 2021 to include Compton & Up Marden CE Primary, further future-proofing all three village schools.
