Rogate CE Primary - Our School
Welcome to our school
Rogate CE Primary sits in the picturesque Rogate village, between Petersfield and Midhurst. We are a small, friendly school, who put our children and families at the centre of all we do.
The school surroundings take in fields, woodland and the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park. We provide a stimulating and supportive environment, in which all children have the opportunity to develop their individual talents. We pride ourselves on the individual support we give to our children.
We offer a vibrant and creative curriculum through well planned, focused teaching, including visits, after school clubs, use of our exceptional outdoor surroundings and sports field.
We provide outstanding music provision, using highly qualified music teachers and outside providers.
Displays are lively and interactive, contribute to the positive ethos of the school and celebrate the excellent quality of the children’s learning.
All children have equal access to the whole curriculum and are given equal opportunities to develop to their full potential in a safe and secure environment, in partnership with parents and carers.
We have access to our own conservation area and woodland, which are fully utilised throughout by all year groups. You can find out about Forest Schools here.
We have excellent relationships with the local nurseries and secondary schools and we welcome every opportunity for parents and members of the local community to be involved in our children’s learning.
From June 2020 we joined Rake CE Primary to form the Downland Village Schools Federation which was further extended in March 2021 to include Compton & Up Marden CE Primary, further future-proofing all three village schools.
